BrunoBooks is a unique service dedicated to making it as easy and pain-free as possible for students to save as much money and time as possible on their
textbooks.
By linking up a powerful price-comparison engine with your course schedule, we make it easier than ever to find the cheapest used and new books on the internet.
Since our service is completely free (we earn money exclusively from vendors' referral fees), we think BrunoBooks is absolutely the best way to get your textbooks
and still start the semester with some money in your pocket. We hope you agree!
BrunoBooks was founded in 2007 by a group of students from Brown University. We are a small, determinedly socially-conscious business, donating at least 10% of our
annual revenue (not profit) to charity.
Q: How does BrunoBooks support itself without charging any fees or markups?
What's the catch?
BrunoBooks is a totally free service. When you buy with us, you pay the prices available on our partner websites and not a penny more. BrunoBooks receives a
referral commission from those sites, which comes out of the money that they receive. This helps pay for maintaining and constantly improving the website,
collecting course book data, and making sure you know about us. In other words, there's no
catch. We help you find great deals at no cost to you; enjoy!
Q: I usually just buy my books on Amazon. Why should I switch to BrunoBooks?
BrunoBooks will always beat or match Amazon's prices. If Amazon has the cheapest price on the internet, that's exactly what you will pay on BrunoBooks. If another
site offers the book for less, we will refer you to that seller.
Q: What is the difference between buying from BrunoBooks and buying from other comparison shopping services?
There are other services that will help you compare prices between booksellers, but we go a step further by letting you find books based on the classes you are
taking, put them in your cart all at once, and consolidate the checkout process. This saves a lot of work. If you don't believe us, try comparison shopping for the
10+ books you need this semester individually. Actually, don't. Spare yourself the headache; that's why we're here.
Q: How long does shipping take with BrunoBooks? Will I get my books quickly?
Your books will be shipped by the vendors to which we refer you. As you check out, you can select your shipping methods. Obviously, faster shipping adds to your
costs. However, given the amount of money you'll saving versus your school bookstore, you can usually get expedited shipping and still save. (And anyway, we were
college students once. You don't really need your books on the very first day of class,
do you?) You can also monitor the status of your orders using the shipping information that the vendors give you.
Q: Can I make returns using BrunoBooks?
If you don't want a book anymore, we suggest you put it up for sale on BrunoBooks' Textbook Exchange. This will help you find a buyer on your campus.
However, you can also choose to return to the vendor you bought from. All books returns are subject to the return policies at our partner websites. For example, new
books bought from Amazon can be returned
within 30 days for a full refund, although you have to pay shipping.
Used books generally cannot be returned unless the condition differs from what the seller said. You can find the full version of each website's return policy by

Q: What are international editions?
International editions are cheaper printings of textbooks (often in paperback) that publishers distribute internationally. They have the exactly same content as the
regular hardback US editions, but sometimes have different charts or graphics inside, and usually do not include any accompanying CD/DVD. The bottom line is that if
you don't mind having a paperback, international editions are a great way to save
big money on your textbooks. See AbeBooks' FAQ for more info: Abebooks
International Edition FAQ.
Often, the cheapest options shown on BrunoBooks are international editions. However, if you don't want to buy international editions, no problem. Just look through
the options for each book until you find one where the description does not say international edition â.. it shouldn't be too far down the list. Even if you avoid
international editions, BrunoBooks will still save you bundles of cash.
Q: I'm worried about the accuracy of your information. What if you sell me the wrong book?
This isn't exactly a frequently asked question. In fact, we've never gotten it. We scale cliffs, ford rivers, and lift boulders to make sure all of our information
is correct. But, if we do make a mistake, we will do our best to make amends. If this does happen, let us know about it, and then use the return guidelines for the
site you purchased the book from to make a return. However, legally, we cannot accept responsibility for incorrect purchases made, and we hope you understand.
Q: What do I do if I have a question that is not on this list?
Just ask. You can reach us at Bruno@BrunoBooks.com. If something really irks you, call our CEO directly. You can reach Jess at
770.313.1032 anytime, day or night.
